Board of Education Meeting Tuesday, June 26

 

The Sheridan Board of Education will meet Tuesday, June 26 in the board room at SOAR Academy, 4107 S. Federal Blvd.  The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.

 

The agenda includes updates on the Facility Master Plan and enrollment projections; final 2018-2019 school year budget; transportation legislation; RTD bus pass resolution; and revision to the calendar.

 

Under board calendar items and announcements are updates on Habitat for Humanity and the CASB (Colorado Association of School Boards) Online Policy Governance Training.

 

The consent agenda includes personnel recommendations; financial recommendations; approval of minutes (May 1, May 8 and May 22 board meetings), and resolution in support of recommendation creating RTD Youth and Low-Income Bus Passes; approval of a motion to become plaintiff in a legal case related to transportation legislation; approval of Head Start COLA (Cost of Living Adjustment) application; and approval of job descriptions. 

                                    

Time will also be allotted for public comment. All audience comments are limited to three minutes. 

 

Superintendent Michael Clough and Deputy Superintendent Jackie Webb will host an informal good-bye at Old Chicago restaurant immediately following the board meeting. No business will be conducted.
