Board of Education Meeting Tuesday, April 10
The Sheridan Board of Education will meet Tuesday, April 10 in the board room at SOAR Academy, 4107 S. Federal Blvd. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. with introduction of a new board member. The regular board meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Agenda items include appointment of board member; acceptance of oath of office; signing confidentiality affidavit; an update on school district finances; an update on the sick leave bank balances; upcoming board events; resolution regarding Rocky Flats; job fair and hiring update; final payment for Fort Logan property; and resolution regarding employment contracts.
Board president Bernadette Saleh will provide an update on the superintendent search timeline.
Principal Shirley Miles and assistant principal Eileen Doolan will provide an update and overview of progress at Sheridan High School.
The consent agenda includes personnel recommendations; financial recommendations; approval of minutes (Jan. 9, Feb. 13, and Feb. 27 meetings); a resolution for employment contracts; and approval of various board policy adoptions and revisions.
Time will also be allotted for public comment. All audience comments are limited to five minutes.
