Sheridan Board of Education will hold a work session and regular meeting on
Tuesday, Aug. 28 at SOAR Academy, 4107 S. Federal Blvd. The work session
will begin at 5:30 p.m.; the regular meeting will follow. normal'> normal'>The
day will begin for board members with a “Learning Walk” at Sheridan High
School, 3201 W. Oxford Ave. The tour will begin at 8:30 a.m. normal'> normal'>From
9:45 to 11:30 a.m., the board will take a refresher course on Policy Governance
led by Matt Cook, Director of Public Policy and Advocacy at the Colorado
Association of School Boards.normal'> normal'>The
5:30 p.m. work session agenda includes Sheridan High School; Learning Walk
Debrief; Mill Levy Update; Data Debrief; and a resolution regarding Amendment
73—Great Schools, Thriving Communities.normal'> normal'>The
regular meeting will include public audience. Please note that all audience
comments are limited to three minutes and those who wish to speak need to
complete a “Request for Audience” form and give it to the secretary prior to
