Board of Education Meeting Tuesday, April 24

The Sheridan Board of Education will meet Tuesday, April 24 in the board room at SOAR Academy, 4107 S. Federal Blvd.  The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a work session.  The regular board meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. 

The topic of the work session is discussion of the superintendent search timeline and information regarding conversation with attorney Jim Branum.

The agenda for the regular meeting includes an update on the state legislature and school finance; an update on the mural project at Fort Logan Northgate School; board events; student survey results; an update on the Sheridan / Channel 9 Health Fair; and Arapahoe Community College concurrent enrollment.

A presentation will also be made regarding the counseling grant for Fort Logan Northgate School and Sheridan High School.

The consent agenda includes personnel recommendations, financial recommendations; approval of minutes (for the March 13, March 17, March 26, and March 27 meetings); and approval of board policy adoptions and revisions.

Time will also be allotted for public comment. All audience comments are limited to five minutes.
