Board of Education Meeting Tuesday, July 11
The Sheridan Board of Education will meet Tuesday, July 11 at 5:30 p.m. in the board room located at SOAR Academy, 4107 S. Federal Blvd.
The agenda includes updates on the board retreat planned for later in the month; the board election; Kindergarten Ready; Communities That Care; pupil count audit; Habitat for Humanity invitation; and school lunch and summer lunch program.
The board will also hear a presentation regarding the Chromebook Summer Reading Program.
The consent agenda includes personnel recommendations; appointment of a designated election official; approval of district use of board members’ facsimile signatures; and annual approval of posting location of board agenda.
The board also anticipates an executive session to discuss student matters.
Time will also be allotted for public comment. All audience comments are limited to five minutes.
