Board of Education Meeting Tuesday, Oct. 10
The Sheridan Board of Education will meet Tuesday, Oct. 10 in the board room at SOAR Academy, 4107 S. Federal Blvd. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.
The agenda includes a review of the learning and facility walk at SOAR Academy, being conducted earlier in the day, at 8:45 a.m.
The agenda also includes updates on budget and finance; initial audit report; pupil count; student attendance; student/parent survey; board goals; and the Colorado Association of School Boards convention.
The board will also hear a presentation on Curriculum, Instruction, and English Language Development and Assessments from Deputy Superintendent Jackie Webb; Language, Cultural and Equity Director, Linda Chapman; Director of Student Achievement Lara Eddy; and Data and Assessment Manager Kirk Henwood.
The consent agenda includes personnel recommendations, Head Start Program Information Reports, and Head Start Appointment of Community Agencies to Policy Council.
Time will also be allotted for public comment. All audience comments are limited to five minutes.
