Board of Education Meeting Today—Tuesday, March 12
The Sheridan Board of Education will meet today, Tuesday,
March. 12, at SOAR Academy, 4107 S. Federal Blvd. This meeting begins at
5:30 p.m.
The agenda includes a report and recommendation from the
District Advisory and Accountability Committee and a showcase of Alice Terry
Elementary School, including a spotlight on individual staff and students.
The agenda also includes audience for members of the public.
All audience comments are limited to three minutes.
The Superintendent/Leadership Report includes updates on the
district’s shift to online student registration; Beyond Textbooks; Safety &
Security; and new delayed start procedures during inclement weather.
Board member announcements include the CASB (Colorado
Association of School Boards) Winter Legislative Conference.
The consent agenda includes personnel recommendations;
financial recommendations; board meeting minutes (for the Feb. 12, 2019
meeting); and adoption and revision of various board policies.
The board is also planning an executive session to discuss
personnel contracts.
