Board of Education Meeting Tuesday, Jan. 9
The Sheridan
Board of Education will meet Tuesday, Jan. 9 in the board room at SOAR Academy,
4107 S. Federal Blvd. There are two meetings scheduled. The first is a
work session at 4 p.m. The formal meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.
At the 4 p.m.
work session, board members will meet with Ray and Associates to discuss
planning for the superintendent search.
At the 5:30 p.m.
meeting, the agenda includes a presentation from a Sheridan High School
student; Head Start training; and the CASB (Colorado Association of School
Boards) Region 5 invitation and RSVP reminder.
Board of
Education President Bernadette Saleh is scheduled to discuss Policy Governance
Review.
In addition,
Deputy Superintendent Jackie Webb and Data and Assessment Manager Kirk Henwood
will present an update on the district’s Unified Improvement Plan (UIP) and the
District Framework.
The consent
agenda includes personnel recommendations and the annual approval of posting
location for the board agendas.
Time will also be
allotted for public comment. All audience comments are limited to five minutes.
