• Medications can be administered at school only if the conditions listed below are met. All medications, including over-the-counter (OTC) medications such as Advil, Tylenol, cough drops, etc. must follow the conditions listed below:
• Each School's Front Office will receive written permission to administer the medication, including OTC medications from the student’s health care provider with prescriptive authority under Colorado law. 
• The parent/guardian is responsible for providing all medication to be administered to the student.
• Medication must be in the original, properly labeled container. Prescription medication must include the student’s name, name of the medication, dosage, frequency of administration, and name of the prescribing health care provider printed on the container
• Medication orders are good for one year from the date of the written order. 
•  Students are not allowed to carry or use medications that have not completed the Self Carry Contract.
