Superintendent Pat Sandos Welcomes Veronica Jeffers as New Principal of Fort Logan Northgate School
Sheridan School District 2 Superintendent Pat Sandos this week published an open letter welcoming Veronica “BJ” Jeffers as the new principal of Fort Logan Northgate School.

Dear FLN Staff and Community Members,
The Sheridan community would like to welcome a new family member – Ms. Veronica
“BJ” Jeffers. Most recently, Ms. Jeffers was the Director of Community Engagement and Dropout Prevention for the Adams 14 School District. The Director of Community Engagement develops and fosters collaborative relationships with schools, departments and the community.
She has also worked as a principal coach and as the
Principal of Operations for Adams City High
School. From 2015 to 2018, Ms. Jeffers was the
principal at Kearney Middle School and from
2007 to 2015, she was the assistant principal at Grant Ranch, a preK-8 school within the Denver Public Schools. With her 27 years of experience in public education, Ms. Jeffers will be able to “hit the ground running”. BJ is also a fluent Spanish speaker.
Ms. Jeffers holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Texas Tech and a Master’s of Arts in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in Bilingual Education, English Language Arts and Reading from the University of Colorado.

La comunidad de Sheridan desea dar la bienvenida a un
nuevo miembro de la familia: la
Sra. Veronica "BJ" Jeffers. Recientemente, la Sra. Jeffers fue Directora de Participación de la
Comunidad y Prevención del Abandono Escolar del Distrito Escolar Adams 14. El Director de Community Engagement desarrolla y fomenta relaciones de colaboración con escuelas, departamentos y la comunidad. También ha trabajado como entrenadora principal y como directora de operaciones de Adams City High School. De 2015 a 2018, la Sra.
