Meeting Tuesday, Aug. 13
The Sheridan Board of Education will meet Tuesday, Aug. 13
at SOAR Academy, 4107 S. Federal Blvd. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting includes audience for members of the public. All
audience comments are limited to three minutes.
The agenda includes a spotlight on Sheridan High School
staff (Christen Rogers De Reyes) and students (Advanced Placements “STARS”).
Co-principals Eileen Doolan and German Echevarria will also provide on an
update on the school’s progress.
The agenda also includes an update on the start of the
school year; history of Sheridan athletics presented by Roger Rowland; a recap
of the leadership retreat and attendance at the Colorado Association of School
Executives conference; online registration; and teacher and staff training.
The consent agenda includes personnel recommendations,
including the renewed contract for Superintendent Pat Sandos; financial
recommendations; board meeting minutes (July 9 and July 19 meetings); and
Student Course Handbooks.
