Board of Education Meeting Tuesday, Feb. 11

The Sheridan Board of Education will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 11 at SOAR Academy, 4107 S. Federal Blvd. The meeting will begin at 5:45 p.m.

The agenda includes recognition of Sheridan High School students who finished first-place and third-place in an essay contest sponsored by the Colorado Association for Bilingual Education as well as students who were named semifinalists for scholarships offered by the Daniels Fund and the Boettcher Scholarship program.

The agenda includes a spotlight on Fort Logan Northgate Middle School students and staff. In addition, Fort Logan Northgate principal Bill Blandón will provide an overview of progress at the school.

The agenda also includes audience for members of the public. All audience comments are limited to three minutes.

The superintendent/leadership report includes an update on the Colorado Association of School Executives (CASE) conference.

The consent agenda includes personnel recommendations; a job description (data/systems manager); and approval of the under-enrollment plan for the Head Start program.

The consent agenda includes personnel recommendations, financial recommendations, and Board Meeting Minutes (for the Jan. 14 meeting).
