Dear Sheridan Families,Attending school is important every day. WEDNESDAY,
OCTOBER 3rd is a significant day for your student to attend
school. As a parent, the most important
step to take to support school funding is to make sure your child attends
school on that day. Much of public
education funding from the State of Colorado is based on student count, and the
official student count day this year is WEDNESDAY,
OCTOBER 3rd.
The state determines the “Count Window” which is September 26th-October 10th and the important student count day is WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 3rd. Please help us to accurately account for your
student by having them attend on that day.
If your student must be absent on WEDNESDAY,
OCTOBER 3rd due to serious illness, please call the office at 720-833-6825 to report the absence.
Attendance during the “Count Window” will help counteract if there is an absence on October 3rd.
We want ALL students to attend on WEDNESDAY,
OCTOBER 3rd.
Students who are in attendance on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 3rd will be able to “Make their Own Ice Cream Sundae” during lunch that day.
