Meeting Tuesday, May 14
The Sheridan Board of Education will meet tomorrow, Tuesday,
May 14 at SOAR Academy, 4107 S. Federal Blvd. This meeting begins at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting will begin with a spotlight on the students and
staff at SOAR Academy. In addition, SOAR Academy principal Todd Legge will
present an update on the school and its progress.
The agenda also includes audience for members of the public.
All audience comments are limited to three minutes.
The Superintendent/Leadership Report includes the
presentation of recommendations from the District Accountability Advisory
Committee; an update on the Unified Improvement Plan and ACCESS Data; and
introduction of new school leadership.
The consent agenda includes personnel recommendations;
financial recommendations; board meeting minutes (from the April 19, 2019
meeting; Head Start Self-Assessment; salary schedules; Policy Governance Policy
E-1 (Mission/Vision Statement); and Global Statement.
The consent agenda includes personnel recommendations,
financial recommendations, and approval of board meeting minutes (for the March
12, 2019 meeting).
