Dear Sheridan Families,
We are writing to inform you that the following school(s) will be open and ready to welcome students on Wednesday, April 8th:
- Early Childhood Center (ECE)
- Alice Terry
- Fort Logan Northgate
- SOAR Academy
- Sheridan High School
For the school(s) listed above, bus transportation and food services will operate as regularly scheduled. As we receive additional information regarding staffing and coverage, we will continue to update the list of schools able to open and will communicate those updates with families as quickly as possible. Continue to check our district website for updates.
We understand that an educator strike can disrupt daily routines, create challenges with childcare and work schedules, and cause uncertainty or stress for both students and families. We sincerely appreciate your patience and flexibility during this time. Please know that our priority remains supporting students and maintaining a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment.
The district continues to work collaboratively with the Sheridan Educators Association (SEA) toward a resolution. We are committed to keeping you informed as updates become available.
