On Thursday, Oct. 1, our SOAR Academy students proved that learning doesn't just happen in the classroom; it happens in the community, too!
Students rolled up their sleeves, packed food, sorted donations, and helped make a difference at the Sharing with Sheridan Food Pantry.
We can't confirm whether they spent more time organizing food or perfecting the art of carrying an impressive number of boxes at once, but either way, they were all-stars!
Beyond lending a helping hand, our students demonstrated compassion, teamwork, and a commitment to serving others. Their willingness to volunteer their time reminds us that even small acts of kindness can have a big impact on our community.
We are incredibly proud of these students for choosing to spend part of their day giving back and showing what it means to be part of the SOAR family.
Thank you for leading with generous hearts and making our community a little stronger, one box at a time.
