Curriculum and Instruction
Hello Sheridan,
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2026 Teaching and Learning Conditions Colorado (TLCC) survey. We had 105 staff members complete the survey, and your feedback provides important insight into what is working well across the district and where we have opportunities to strengthen our systems in alignment with our Strategic Plan.
The full survey results can be found here and on the CDE website.
Highlights from TLCC 2026:
- Strong evaluation systems
School Leader Evaluation (91%) and Staff Evaluation (85%) both exceed the state average, indicating clear, consistent systems that staff find meaningful and fair. - Shared responsibility for learning remains a strength
At 85%, this reflects strong staff commitment to student outcomes and collaboration across teams. - Positive professional climate and student supports
Professional Climate (81%) and Student Supports (80%) show that staff feel a strong sense of collaboration and that students’ needs are being supported.
Growth in professional development systems
While still an area to strengthen, district PD is approaching the state average and reflects progress in access and structure.
Opportunities aligned to our Strategic Plan:
- Priority 2: Culture of High Expectations
Instructional Practice in meeting diverse student needs (67%) and supportive conditions (75%) indicate a need to strengthen consistency in high-quality instruction, differentiation, and classroom-level supports. This aligns directly to our focus on strong instruction, PLC systems, and clear expectations for teaching and learning.
Priority 4: Data-Driven Decision Making
Time (55%) and district support structures highlight a need to improve systems that allow staff to effectively use data, collaborate, and plan. Strengthening these systems will support more consistent data use, instructional adjustments, and aligned decision-making across schools.
We will continue to use this data alongside our Strategic Plan priorities to guide planning, professional learning, and system improvements for the upcoming year.
Thank you for your continued leadership and commitment to our students, staff, and community.
