Pat Sandos is the son of the first Denver Hispanic City Councilman Sam Sandos and Ethel Sandos-Skripko, Pat has spent his entire career in the west Denver area as a teacher, elementary and secondary school principal, and administrator.  Pat has extensive experience at elementary, middle and high school and has continually served the children of west Denver. Pat’s “Kid’s First” philosophy has driven him his entire career of over thirty years. Pat has served as the President of the Colorado Association of Secondary School Principals and has lobbied on behalf of public education at both the state level and in Washington, D.C. His commitment to kids has earned him great accolades with families and students he has served in his lengthy career. In addition, Pat has carried on in his father’s footsteps and leads the “Sam Sandos Christmas Basket Program,” a program that provides a full Christmas dinner with a turkey and all of the trimmings for families who may otherwise not be served. The Program has provided over 300,000 meals since its inception.
