Alice Terry Elementary School Honored with 'The Governor's Distinguished Improvement' Award

The Alice Terry Team is proud to be one of the schools to receive this Governor's Distinguished Improvement Award for the 2022 school year!!

"The Governor's Distinguished Improvement Awards are given to schools that demonstrate exceptional student growth. On the school performance framework that is used by the state to evaluate schools, these school "exceed" expectations on the indicator related to longitudinal academic growth and "meet or exceed" expectations on the indicator related to academic growth gaps. "

We are looking for positive male role models here at Alice Terry Elementary (fathers, step-fathers, grandparents, adult brothers, cousins, family friends, etc.). Sign up in our main office! Whether you can volunteer once a year, once a month or every week, we would love to have you here! Call our main office with any questions 720-833-6990.

Visitor and Volunteer Information

As part of our safety protocol, we will require all visitors and volunteers to enter through the front doors and check in at the main office where they will be required to have their driver's license or ID Card scanned through our RAPTOR Visitor Management System in order to rule out any potential threads to our school community. Visitors will receive an identification sticker to be worn while in the school. For security reasons, it is imperative that visitors/volunteers sign in and sign out at the front office in order to maintain an accurate count of all persons in the building. Please do not exit through any side doors as this can cause a safety threat to our school community.
