College Campus Concurrent Enrollment

General Information:

Courses offered on a college campus and taught by college faculty
Must be a course not offered at Sheridan or not available during the time needed
Must fulfill a graduation requirement
Tuition is paid by the district at the Community College rate ONLY IF the following has occurred:

Student Responsibilities:

Students have worked with their counselor to determine if their class schedule will accommodate the course and if he or she has met any prerequisite test scores needed for the course.
Student has completed ALL the appropriate Application and Agreements
- fully signed and completed college agreements with college course applying for clearly identified
- fully signed parent contract and promissory note
- Student/Parent/Guardian is responsible for payment of any additional tuition above the community college rate paid by the district.

Prerequisite Options:

Student has a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Accuplacer testing is available at Sheridan High School in the Spring of Sophomore and Junior year and Arapahoe Community College. The testing must be set up through a student's counselor.
PSAT/SAT testing is available at Sheridan High School in the Spring of Sophomore and Junior year.
