My previous experience has been with a private childcare centers where I gained experience as a classroom teacher, Assistant Director and Director. Becky Benavides - Special Education Paraprofessional
Hola, my name is Becky Benavides. I am a Special Education Paraprofessional, and have been working here since 2006. I hold an Early Childhood Professional Credential 3.0 Level IV. I have been a part of the Sheridan community for 17 years -- all 3 of my children have attended Sheridan Schools, Pre-K through High School.
I love working with children - what a world to discover. Maria Elsa Rodriguez - Special Education Paraprofessional
My name is Maria Elsa Rodriguez, and I am a Special Education Paraprofessional. I have my Early Childhood Education Professional Credential 3.0 Level III. I have worked here at the Sheridan Early Childhood Center for the last 3 years, while also supporting the district as an interpreter. Prior to that, I was a stay-at-home Mom, supporting and caring for my own children. I have lived in Sheridan for 14 years -- All 4 of my children attended the ECC, and 2 of them have already graduated from Sheridan Schools. I have enjoyed working with the students, teachers and families here, that I myself have been a part of. Hello my name is Lyndsie Lee-Null, and I have been the Speech-Language Pathologist here at the ECC since 2016. My previous experience has been in-home health with children and families. I provide evaluations for incoming children, as well as children enrolled in our program, and provide therapy for students who qualify here, at the preschool. I hold a Master's Degree in Speech and Hearing Science, and have obtained my Certificate of Clinical Competence. I love providing support for children, families and teachers at this exciting stage in a child's development.

Hello! I'm Casey Hammes, the Health Coordinator at the Sheridan Early Childhood Center. My time at the ECC began in 2019; since then, I have enjoyed building relationships with families and students and have helped to create a safe and healthy environment. I have lived in Sheridan for 22 years, and all 4 of my children graduated from Sheridan High School. Megan Tyson - Digital Monitoring Assistant
Hello, I'm Megan Tyson. I hold a Colorado Teachers' License for Preschool - 3rd grade, and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development. I have been a part of the Sheridan Early Childhood Center since February 2015, and have had many roles from Classroom Teacher, Teacher Assistant, and now, Digital Monitoring Assistant. I'm excited to be in this new role, where I assist with different digital aspects of our program, & educational technology. My own nephew attended here when he was young, and is now 10 yrs old, going on to do great things! I love being a part of this community. My colleagues and I, we are certainly a team, even a family, and we are blessed to give our all to serve these students, families, & this community.

I am Ms. Allison and this is my second year at the Sheridan ECC. I am a teaching assistant in one of the full day classes. I have a BA in English Creative Writing and will have my ECE AA degree and ECE Teacher and Director certificates from Arapahoe Community College in May 2023. Before coming here I worked as a Lead Teacher/Site coordinator for Springboard/ Leading Edge Before and Afterschool Programs from 2018-2021.
Constance Crowell - Teaching Assistant
Hello my name is Constance Crowell, and I am a brand new Teaching Assistant here at the Sheridan Early Childhood Council. I have about 5 years experience as a private nanny for multiple families, and I love working with children.
Two of my three children have attended here at the ECC, one is getting ready to attend Kindergarten in the Fall, and he has grown SO MUCH! I have served as the Chairwoman on the school's Policy Council, and enjoyed volunteering so much, I decided to join the team!

I have been a teacher for over 35 years, with the last 15 as a Head Start Teacher here at the ECC. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I have a teacher’s license in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in Colorado. I have worked with ages ranging from a few days old to college level students; but the preschool children are my favorite!

Hi my name is Angie, I have been a teacher for about nineteen years, four of those years have been here at the ECC. Many of those years have been spent in early education, which I am passionate about. I am a Denver native and my hubby and I grew up very close to the Sheridan community. We have one daughter who is six. Our family loves traveling, photography, exploring our beautiful state.

Hello, my name is Fawzia Shakary, I am a Teaching Assistant and have been working with children and adults as a Nursing Assistant, since January 2019. I enjoy helping people as much as I can; and while my son was here, we had a good experience and felt welcomed with the Staff, so I felt interested to be more involved. I started to do volunteer work with the children and teachers at the Sheridan Early Childhood Center in January 2022. Now, I am also continuing my education to achieve my AA degree in the future, while working as a teacher assistant in the classroom.

My name is Asma Elham. I am from Afghanistan, and I came to the USA in 2014. I have been working in Early Childhood Education for more than 10 years; and I have two daughters, ages 7 and 3. I love working here at the ECE because I live in this neighborhood, and my children have also attended the ECE too. I really like this environment; the people are amazing, and all of us are working together to provide a great education for our children.
